L'Appartement Français, a committed concept store dedicated to made in France, has been supporting consumers for seven years to become consumer-actors, and to become aware of the impact of their choices.

In May 2024, the company raises funds and naturally brings its best ambassadors into the capital: its consumer stakeholders.

A group of 19 shareholders who invest and engage together in the physical commerce of made in France.

“Physical commerce enlivens and brings life to our city centers. It is one of the essential links in the social bond” explains David Remy, co-founder of the brand.

“It is our responsibility as a retailer to offer our customers a range of responsible, local, quality products and to provide them with total transparency on traceability” explains Emilie Auvray, co-founder.

With more than 30% owned by its customers but also by brands and manufacturers made in France who have joined the adventure, the governance of the company is shared and operates in collective intelligence.

“It is our responsibility as managers, shareholders, consumers and citizens to act today to respond to the challenges of our world. The business world is a fantastic way to contribute to this. For us, growth rhymes with “believe in meaning”, consumption is transformed into consumption of action, “always more” is transformed into the logic of “better and less”” explains Emilie Auvray.

Thanks to this group of consumer investors, the brand plans to open a second store in June 2024, a third in October, and the creation of a Rue du Made in France...
