France's overseas departments, made up of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion and Mayotte, are rich in know-how, unique cultural traditions and breathtaking landscapes. Here is an overview of the distinctive know-how of each of these departments: Guadeloupe and its basketry know-how, Martinique for its ceramics and pottery, Guyana for its Amerindian goldsmithing and woodworking, Réunion, for its embroidery and weaving.
