A century ago, Georges-René Julio, the future husband of Andrée Jardin, began his apprenticeship as a brushmaker in Nantes. In 1947, he opened his own factory. This is when the adventure begins.
Today, Brosserie Julio, still close to Nantes, at Chapelle-Sur-Erdre, manufactures the Andrée Jardin brand. Jean-Baptiste and François-Marie Julio, the grandsons of Andrée Jardin, are reissuing their grandmother's legendary brushworks and collaborating with designers to offer you everyday accessories for the home that are both aesthetic, practical, natural and durable.
For more than 70 years, with this unwavering know-how, the selection of raw materials and the artisanal work of the fibers are based on the experience of several generations and make it possible to obtain exclusive quality.
Andrée Jardin is now labeled Living Heritage Company, an official French label issued under the authority of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, in order to distinguish French companies with excellent artisanal and industrial know-how.
